What We Do
Health Access & Wellness
We bring care to where life happens: MIRA Telehealth kiosks, mobile clinics, and the MIRA Link mobile app—ensuring that veterans have same-day access to urgent, behavioral, and routine health needs. Services include immediate triage, prescription guidance, care navigation, and prevention coaching, all of which are crucial for enhancing veteran health access. By supporting healthier vets, we also contribute to their success in entrepreneurship training and job placement programs, leading to higher job retention, better family stability, and stronger community ties.
Entrepreneurship - Launch & Scale Training
From idea to income: We provide entrepreneurship training for veteran founders, equipping them with playbooks, mentors, and investor-ready materials. Our outputs include business model builds, marketing systems, financial projections, pitch decks, and go-to-market tools, all essential for successful job placement programs. Why it matters: ownership creates agency—and durable wealth, while also enhancing veteran health access.
Employment—Job Placement & Workforce On-Ramps
We translate MOS to market-ready: resumes, lining up interviews, and prep veterans to win the room. Additionally, we offer entrepreneurship training and curate employer partners who seek veteran talent. Job placement programs yield outputs such as skills mapping, interview coaching, hiring fairs, and curated job pipelines. Why it matters: stable work is the fastest path to thriving families and communities, contributing to better veteran health access.

Transition friction: Veterans possess amazing skills, but translating military excellence into business ownership or a civilian role often becomes a maze.
Fragmented support: There is plenty of intent, but not enough integration. Veterans require a single runway—from health to livelihood—especially through effective entrepreneurship training and job placement programs to improve veteran health access.

At GO*VETS Foundation, our mission is to serve veterans and their families by creating greater access to healthcare, entrepreneurship education, and life-changing resources. Through strategic partnerships, community fundraising events, and mission-driven programs, we help those who served move forward with dignity, opportunity, and support.
Our Story
GO*VETS Foundation was founded in 2011 after seeing veterans return home and struggle to access jobs, resources, and support. Inspired by Jay Hazelgren, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, Brian committed his fundraising experience to building a charitable cause focused on helping veterans and their families move forward.
Today, GO*VETS Foundation works through strategic partnerships, donor-funded programs, and community events to expand access to healthcare, entrepreneurship education, and life-changing resources.
